I may post this and a larger poster size version on Reb Bubble Deviantart or Patreon ... havnt decided where ...

The illustration was done using Inkscape plus some brush texture added in Gimp.

A note from next week due to a schedule change and lockdown I may only be able to post once a week instead of about every 4- 5 days as my volunteer hours may change if or when we go back to partial lockdown in Sydney and my PAID work hours ... well lets say it would be great if I had a lot more followers and hence some Adsense or sales income ?

Also I just felt earlier versions didnt work or werent special enuff

Its  png format so have fun adding backgrounds and layers and let me know if it inspires anything! This was an svg file created using #inkscape and then exported as a png for uploading.

Another #Inkscape  #kanji experiment. The Hanzi Kanji for woman - nu 3 and then a color edit and one other change in Inkscape then an upload to #gimp and the mosaic filter applied.  I'll have to try this again perhaps with a slightly different gradient. I want to suggest the strength and beauty of green jade in a feminine way and this is almost right but ... not quite there?

I've been playing with the filters again. There's actually 3 combined in this one.
I 'm aiming for an effect suggesting someone printed or brushing ink onto a very rough piece of damp unsized paper.

Inkscape has several texture filters as well as three different rainbow filters.

I combined  three of them to get a watercolor or dye on silk effect ?

A new logo for this blog

Please let me know what you think of this as a possible new logo header jpg for this blog?

This image was created using Inkscape .

I combined rainbow with a couple of other filters but stuck to Black and a simpler raised effect for the bottom half.

Why black under rainbow?

That old dictum about black ink producing the five colors if used skilfully?

So what do you think change the logo or not?

I applied Inkscape filters over a unihan generated svg.

You try it too!

Look up the unicode or unihan for a character then use text and control u 

with that character and once you have your svg add any filter you like!
